What is Avenue16?

Avenue16 is more than just a name – it is progress, it is experience, and it is a pathway that has led me here. My favourite number, the day of my birth, my baseball jersey number, the 16th song on the CD for my first figure skating solo and, finally, 2016 – the year that I launched Avenue16. Something about 16 has always been sweet. So, for me, Avenue16 is the perfect fit – and when something is the perfect fit, you know it is meant for you.

Who is Avenue16?

Just who is the face behind Avenue 16? I am a creative woman who is passionate about life. I love cheerleading, figure skating, and baseball. I love to travel – it inspires me and my work. Graphic Design isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am and what I’m passionate about. I pay attention to the details in the world around me and find inspiration in unusual places. I completed the Graphic Design Advanced Diploma program in April 2013 in London, ON at Fanshawe College. Freelancing through the years has given me the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, and the past four years since graduation I’ve gained valuable experience in the design, branding, marketing, and print industry. I am driven to succeed and embracing all that life has to offer.

A Little History…How Did I get here?

The road that has led me to Avenue 16 took me away to North Carolina for a short period after graduating college. I returned home to work for a local company that previously provided me with co-op experience and worked with for 4 years. Those years have provided me with a vast background and experience in developing logos, websites, business cards, brochures, wall, floor, and window graphics. With a wealth of background knowledge, I am moving forward in my own community to provide clients with a personalized, face-to-face, experience.

Your experience with Avenue 16 promises honesty and affordability. When you have a passion for and experience with your products, the quality for valued clients will be nothing but the best.
